Ice Bucket made of ice Ready to create a centerpiece that's sure to get attention for your next party or get together? This one will certainly do the trick! Made of actual ice, flowers and fruit, this centerpiece is sure to dazzle everyone! Lets get started with how to create this awesome DIY project!

Things You'll Need...
 -2 gallon plastic pail
-2 1/2 quart plastic pail
-Platter
-Distilled water (helps create clearer ice cubes)
-Flowers
-Orange and Lime slices
-Mint
-Towel

 Step 1
Select a flower of your choosing. This tutorial uses daises for a more springy feel. Alter the daises for roses if you do this during the fall/winter months. Cut the stems completely off the flowers. Afterward, cut the fruit into thick slices as shown above.

 Step 2
To ensure that the flowers and fruit pieces don't float to the top, the ice bucket will be assembled in three layers.  First, create the bottom level. Using the 2 gallon pail, fill about 2 inches with distilled water. Next, place your fruit slices in the water. Be sure that some are placed on the side and then place the pail in a freezer overnight.

Step 3
After removing the pail from the freezer, take the 2 1/2 quart pail and place rocks in it. Afterward, place the pail on top of the already frozen layer of ice. Next, place flowers and more fruit slices in the open spaces between the two pails. Be sure the flowers are facing outward and then pour more distilled water about an inch over the flowers. Place the buckets back in the freezer for at lest 8 hours.

 Prepare the middle layer

Step 3
Take pails out of the freezer and repeat step two, placing the final layers of fruit and flowers on top of the second ice layer.Do not fill the remaining space of the pail all the way up with water, leave about three inches of space at the top of the pail. Next, you guessed it! Place the pail back in the freezer one last time.
 Prepare the top layer
Step 4
After all the contents in the pail have froze, take the inner pail and remove all the rocks from it, then pour cold water inside of it. This will help the inner pail to slide out of the ice sculpture more easily.

 Slide out the inner pail

Step 5
In this step, we will remove the ice sculpture out of the pail. Place the pail in the sink and run cold water along the sides of the pail for about a minute or two. Afterward, place the bucket upside down on a towel and carefully lift it up. The ice sculpture should slip out after doing this.
Loosen the ice from the bucket

Step 6
Next, pick up the ice sculpture along with the towels and place it on the platter.Next, Take any remaining flowers and mint leaves and place it around the ice sculpture for extra decoration

Surround with more flowers
And Voila!
This ice bucket is a showstopper centerpiece and great to place a fruit arrangement or a bottle of wine in!

Galaxy Wine Glasses

Galaxy Wine Glasses
Ever wanted to spice up your wine glasses at home?! This is a fun and super easy 5 step tutorial for making galaxy print wine glasses. This tutorial doesn't require a lot of materials and only takes a little time to do. Here's what you'll need;
-One wine glass
-Masking tape
-Enamel paint that is specially made for glass in the following colors: black, white, teal, purple, and fuscia
-5 sponges
-An old tooth brush
-Paper towels
-A newspaper.

Step 1
Tape about a half inch strip of tape around the top of your wine glass (or anywhere where you don't want the galaxy paint.)

Step 2
Make a black base with your paint and begin to paint your wine glass. You'll need about 3 to 4 layers to prevent it from being transparent.

Step 3
After the black paint dries, take the purple, teal, and fuscia paint and begin lightly sponging it on to the wine glass. You can also add a swirl of colors onto the handle.

 Step 4
This next step is very messy so you may want to do it outside. Take your toothbrush and dip into your white paint, than take your index finger and flick the paint on the outside of the glass. This will be creating the appearance of stars on the glass. The closer you do this to the glass the bigger the stars will be.

Step 5
Wait for the paint to dry and then very gently remove the tape. If paint comes off during this process, don't panic! Just sponge a little black pain over the chipped areas.
And Voila!
This is such a fun way to add a little charm to your wine glasses! Not to mention its a great conversation piece! If you want to take this project a step further, add a little silver glitter to the glass to give it a little sparkle!
